This site was created in the fall of 2002. It has become an outlet for my amatuer-ish web design skills, but of course it is also an online shrine to the absolutely phenomenal Ashley Judd!!
I first became aware of Ashley the summer of 1998. She was in the local newspaper supposedly dating... someone. She was so cute in that little black and white photo! Now, I had always sort of liked the Judds. I mean, country wasn't / isn't really my thing, but anyone who knows me will tell you-- I love Wynonna. I will only sing Judd songs @ karaoke (and of course, Madonna!) but it was like, who is this Ashley person? I instantly wanted to know a little more about her so I went to the video store and rented 'Kiss the Girls', 'Norma Jean and Marilyn', and 'Normal Life'. After that I was hooked. Once in a while online I would try to see new images of Ms. Judd, talk to some people about new movies coming out, etc., but there weren't a lot of options. One day I just thought-- why don't I just create my own little site for my favorite actress? It has been almost 6 years and I maintain this site because I really am a fan and this is my way of showing that and sharing it with the world. Ashley is not just a wonderful actress, she is an amazing person. Her compassion for others and her humanitarian efforts have only allowed my admiration of her to grow.
