As you can see, the April calendar is now available. I always get so excited about April (that's my birthday month & Ashley's too) so I put up the calendar a little early. I have added a new article for you. I actually added it yesterday.... Primetime's Q&A w/Ashley Judd. I hope that you like it. I remember when it was on tv. Wish I had a way of sharing that with you, but I dont. As some of you may already now. Kentucky has advanced to the 'Elite 8' and will be playing this weekend. Unfortunately, Ashley is not expected to be in attendance. She is still working in Europe, but has stated that she will see her team in New Orleans next week (obviously optimistic about the Wildcats ability to advance in today's game).
Please dont forget to join the FORUM . There aren't very many members yet, so come on and stop being shy. You know you want to join! Also before I go, help me welcome two new affiliates, OnlySMG, Cameron Online, & Liv Tyler Web

It seems appropriate that one of actress Ashley Judd's upcoming projects is Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. Maybe the title should be changed to Wildcat On A Hot Tin Roof.
Kentucky has few more loyal fans than Judd, who says she tells her husband, race car driver Dario Franchitti, "My life is Kentucky basketball. It's better than Christmas."
Judd in Scotland and won't be able to attend tonight's NCAA Midwest Regional semifinal against Wisconsin in Minneapolis. "I had a stern talk with my team and told them I'd see them in New Orleans," she says, referring to next week's Final Four.
She began following Kentucky as a student at the school from 1986-90 — she graduated with a French degree and four minors — and loved sitting in the "rowdy student section, way up in the upper seats, where you could act like an idiot."
Kentucky's student section, called "The e-Rupp-tion zone," a play on the team's home, Rupp Arena, made her an honorary member this season.
"It was so funny," she says, referring to a game against Tennessee when she sat in that section. "They completely left me alone. I had to start conversations."
Note: Last Friday, the night before Kentucky's win against Utah, UK grad and famous fan Ashley Judd had the players over for dinner at her home on a farm outside of Nashville. On the menu: fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, cornbread and biscuits.

As expected, Off-Broadway actor and indy movie favorite Mark Ruffalo has been cast as Brick in the upcoming Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
The news, long expected, was reported in a profile of Ruffalo in New York magazine. Ruffalo will play opposite Ashley Judd's Maggie the Cat and Ned Beatty's Big Daddy. News of the revival has been slow in coming and difficult to confirm.
Ruffalo first made his mark as a misfit teen in Kenneth Lonergan's This Is Our Youth.

Kentucky Wildcats are headed to the Sweet 16 after a 20 point win over Utah. The crowd was hardly neutral in Nashville last night, all of them wearing blue, including Ashley Judd. Her husband, Dario Franchitti, was racing in Phoenix and the Academy Awards were being held in Hollywood, but her beloved Cats came first (Dario had a DFN yesterday anyways).
Judd sat next to Tubby Smith's wife, Donna, most of the game, but had no reason to stay till the end. She left with about three minutes remaining, waving her blue-and-white pom on the way out the door.
Dont forget to check out the latest updates to the site: 4 photos from the June 2002 issue of Vogue, a photo from the 2002 issue of TV Guide to the gallery, and 2 new articles, FIRESTARTER (F.Y.I - Firestarter is the article that goes along with the Vogue photos) and THIS JUDD'S FOR YOU

UK will attempt to take the first of six steps toward its eighth national championship today when it faces Indiana-University Purdue-University at Indianapolis. Kentucky's most publicized fan, actress Ashley Judd, was at the Wildcats' open practice Thursday and planned to watch the Cats play IUPUI today. She also plans to be at Sunday's game if Kentucky advances as expected. "I was supposed to be going to Southeast Asia, but I canceled that trip a couple of weeks ago because I was not feeling well," Judd said. She came to Rupp Arena earlier this season and watched UK beat Tennessee from the E-Rupp-tion Zone with UK students. Later she was at Florida when the Cats capped their 16-0 Southeastern Conference regular season with a win.

YAY! I have finally done it. Lovely Ashley is no more. Welcome to Ashley-Judd.com. This site is taking a lot of time to pull together. Hopefully everything is working as it should. I still have plenty of things left to do and make and upload. The gallery is currently down until sometime later today. I am working very hard to have everything up by Tuesday at the latest.
What do you think so far.... kinda looks the same right? Well, it is a big difference for me. Lots more room and space to grow. BTW, if you find that something isnt working correctly feel free to send me an e-mail. Thanks!

Warner Bros. has set Halle Berry to play the felonious feline in "Catwoman," which wil begin filming later this year. "Catwoman" has been considered a dream project for actresses since Michelle Pfeiffer originated the sexy but loopy character in the Tim Burton (news)-directed "Batman Returns." That pair tried a spinoff that stalled. The project took a catnap until two years ago, when Warners resurrected it with Ashley Judd in the role. But by the time the writers finally hashed out a workable script, Judd was forced to bail because--ironically enough--she had already agreed to sink her claws into the role of Maggie the Cat in a Broadway revival of Tennessee Williams' Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, which would've conflicted with Catwoman's filming.
Berry, who became the first African American to win a Best Actress Oscar last year for her emotionally unsettling performance in the interracial drama Monster's Ball, would become the second black woman to take on Catwoman, following in the paw prints of Eartha Kitt (news), who was one of three actresses to play the part on the 1960s Batman TV series.

Wynonna is Nominated for the American Country Music Humanitarian of the Year Award. The debut of The Home Depot Humanitarian Award on the 2002 telecast of the ACM's was a distinctive addition to the show. Reba McEntire was last year’s recipient of this first and only “fan-voted” award in the history of the Academy. The Home Depot Humanitarian Award was created to recognize an artist or group in the country music industry that is committed to serving others, has a generosity of spirit, and a dedication to helping build the dreams of those in need.
In 2003, Wynonna was the honorary speaker at the St. Jude Children’s Hospital “Country Cares” conference as well as the featured speaker and performer at the 14th Annual “Grammy in the Schools” event. She also recently performed at the MusiCares “Person of the Year” gala in New York City, honoring her friend and fellow humanitarian, Bono. In 2002, Wynonna was named March of Dimes “Humanitarian of the Year” in October at the 6th Annual Achievement in Radio Awards for her work with the “Blue Jeans for Babies Program;” performed at the First Steps Concert in Nashville; chaired an on-line celebrity auction for the American Red Cross (an event that raised over $345,000); wrote and recorded “Carry On” for the “Let’s Roll” tribute album benefiting the Todd M. Beamer Foundation; was a core artist in the USA Weekend-sponsored event “Make a Difference Day” by helping the people of New Jersey collect over 100,000 books for children; campaigned for and assisted in the development of the Asthma Action America Campaign; served Thanksgiving meals with her children to the homeless at the Nashville Union Mission; joined Bono on his tour of the heartland in support of DATA and their efforts to end the struggle of AIDS in Africa; performed at the “City of Hope” gala in Los Angeles to raise funds for cancer research; headlined the Fifth Annual “For All Kids” White Rose Ball in New York; performed for the troops on four occasions at Ft. Campbell in 2001-02, donated Bibles and gift cards to the residents of the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home in Tennessee and is a frequent contributor and volunteer for the Oasis Center, the W.O. The role of Brick has been cast according to a recent casting notice for Cat, but the actor's name has not been announced. Kentucky edges Florida to sweep SEC at 16-0. As players celebrated in the Kentucky locker room at the O'Connell Center, Coach Tubby Smith strolled through a hallway stone-faced. These things are expected of his Wildcats. No. 2 Kentucky edged No. 3 Florida, 69-67, on Saturday afternoon, becoming only the fourth team to complete a Southeastern Conference sweep. The Wildcats, also undefeated in 1954, `56 and `96, finished this season 16-0, thrilling few in the record crowd of 12,581, except most notably actress Ashley Judd. Judd wore a knit Kentucky cap and a blue wig, showing no shame in her allegiance. She cheered for UK in her seat beside Donna Smith. Judd, a fixture at past Kentucky drives deep into the NCAA Tournament, said her schedule might prevent repeated trips to UK games this post-season. She said she has to schedule basketball games around a trip to London to work on a movie with Kevin Kline.

NEW YORK (Variety) - Ashley Judd (news) is negotiating to join Kevin Kline (news) in "De-Lovely," the Cole Porter biopic that Irwin Winkler is directing for United Artists.
Judd's in tune for the role of socialite Linda Lee Porter. She married Porter even though he was gay and was a source of inspiration for musical compositions that include "Anything Goes" and "Kiss Me Kate." She nursed him through a tragic accident in which he was trampled by a horse. After she died, he never wrote another song. The film will feature interludes from 30 Porter songs.
The unusual love story, written by Jay Cocks ("Gangs of New York"), will shoot in London starting May 5, which gives Judd time to make the film and be back to begin rehearsals to play Maggie the Cat in a Broadway revival of "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof." Judd was expected to star in "Catwoman" this year, but the play schedule changed all that.
The following sections of the gallery have been updated with new pics:

Judd is expected to return for Senior Day and also will travel to Florida on Saturday. Franchitti is expected to join Ashely at the Vanderbilt game.

Dario Franchitti qualified his #27 Honda on the inside of the fourth row for the Indy Racing League IndyCar Series opener at Homestead - Miami Speedway. Franchitti qualified seventh with a speed of 201.393 mph. The IRL IndyCar Series season opener will take the green flag at 1:00pm. ET tomorrow on ABC Sports. The Indy 300 will broadcast live from Homestead - Miami Speedway.
No word on whether or not Ashley will be in attendance. I would think so. After all this is Dario's first race of the season. It will also be his first race for the Indy Racing League (if you disgard the INDY 500 participation last year while he was still in CART). I guess that we all will have to wait and see. Either way, GOOD LUCK and BEST WISHES for a safe race!

I have decided that it would be a good idea to have a calendar/wallpaper for each month!! Not sure if it should be a wallpaper or a calendar. This month I have made a calendar. It is 800 x 600, so it can be used as your wallpaper too. What do ya think!?! We shall see how well it goes. It has been a month since the last chat so you know what that means..... time to set up a new chat date. I will be posting the time and date for the next chat in a few days. If you have a preference of when the shat should be click on the little comments link and post it on the tagboard. That is all for now. Let me know how you like the calendar idea.
