Rebecca Budig, Sharon Stone, Ashley Judd, Patricia Field, Sarah Chalke and many more have all designed denim jackets for "Swarovski's Celebrity Heartthrobs Crystallize Denim" campaign, which benefits The American Heart Association. Budig, who plays Greenlee Smythe on "All My Children," is the project spokesperson. The jackets were unveiled on April 24 and will be auctioned on eBay through May 9, with all the proceeds donated to The American Heart Assoc.

Today I have finally posted the magazine article that I have been working on for what seems like forever. I have posted the September 1999 Elle magazine article "Ashley's World". I hope there aren't a lot of errors. I am not the best typist in the world ya know? Anyway, this is one of my favorites and that is why I had to finish it up for you, no matter how bad my typing may be. I hope that you like this addition as much as I do. Hello, everyone. I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter! I have posted 2 new articles to the site. Actually, they are transcripts. I am feeling guilty about the amount of time that it is taking me to get the next magazine article up for you. Happy Birthday to the lovely, beautiful, intelligent, and talented Ashley Judd. Today Ashley turns 35!!

Dont forget to tune in to CBS tonight to watch Wynonna reprise her role as Audrey on the series Touched by an Angel for the last time. The episode is entitled "At the End of the Aisle". This episode reunites the angels with Audrey Carmichael (Wynonna) on the eve of her wedding to an agnostic man. The angels try to stop her from making a mistake she will regret. The character was first introduced on the series when the Angels came to Audrey prior to her young son Petey's death. They return to her now, as she is afraid of being alone. Audrey is willing to sacrifice her belief in God in order to marry. The angels are certain that Audrey does not really love Scott and is only trying to fill the void left by the death of her son. They try to show Audrey that marrying him will not resolve her problems. As the ceremony approaches, Audrey is forced to face reality before she goes down the aisle.

Dario Franchitti will miss the Indianapolis 500 and perhaps all three of the Indy Racing League's races in June, his team confirmed today. An Indianapolis doctor said Franchitti would need two more months to recover. Team co-owner Kim Green said Franchitti could be out for up to four races after Indy on May 25.

``This was a total surprise,'' Green said. ``We honestly were pretty optimistic he'd be ready for testing next week.'' Instead the team, which is co-owned by Michael Andretti, is scrambling to find a replacement.

The absence of Franchitti, driving full time in the IRL for the first time after six seasons and 10 wins on the CART circuit, will almost certainly knock him out of contention in the IRL's points race.

"I'm pretty devastated right now, between not being able to compete in the Indy 500 and possibly missing a couple of the other races," he said``It's disappointing I won't be with the team at its first Indy 500, I will be on hand to help in any way, but my primary focus is to get back in the car as soon as possible.''

Franchitti is among three prominent IRL drivers who have been sidelined by injury. He said he was experiencing minor pain, and would do whatever his orthopedic surgeon says. The L1 stable burst fracture does not require surgery, but Dario will wear a brace for some three months. "Dr. Trammell knows what he is doing," Franchitti said. "So I will listed to him and do whatever possible to get back in the car."

A reminder to set your VCR's this weekend: Wynonna will appear on CBS' "Touched By an Angel" this Saturday, April 19 (Ashley's birthday)! Check your local listing for show times. This year is going to be a big one for Ashley's big sister. Wynonna's first single off her yet to be released album will be out later this month. The album is expected to hit the shelves in August. Wynonna is also planning a wedding and a world tour!

Ashley is featured on the cover of the spring 2003 issue of Ms. magazine. Last year, Ashley Judd wore her "This is what a feminist looks like" tee to a photo shoot for Glamour magazine and was even seen wearing it while accompanying her husband to CART races last year. In 1999 she and her mother country singer Naomi Judd, helped publicize the plight of Afghan women at a Feminist Majority event. Last year, she toured seven cities with U2 lead singer Bono to educate Americans about HIV and the AIDS crisis in Africa. She was a speaker in Washington, D.C as part of the Never Go Back campaign and was a key speaker in Lincoln, NE for World AIDS day. Hey! I am finally back. My birthday was a lot of fun! Thanks for all the birthday wishes and e-mails. I got a donation of codes from ASHLEY for the FANLISTING.
I also got a really awesome gift from GLITZ. Thanks so much everyone.

Now, on to todays update: Dario Franchitti will miss this week's IRL race in Japan after injuring his back in a motorcycle accident during a family visit in Scotland. He plans to remain in Scotland the rest of this week before returning to Indianapolis. He expects to be ready for the May 4 start of practice for the Indianapolis 500. Franchitti sustained a slight fracture of a vertebra in his lower back last week. He was hospitalized in Edinburgh for X-rays and treatment and also received tests in a Glasgow hospital. "The motorcycle had a mechanical problem,'' Franchitti said. "I tried to slow down, but of course that was a bit difficult under the circumstances and I wound up crashing through a hedge and landing on my back.'' "This is the first time in 19 years of racing that I've missed an event due to injury,'' he said.

Los Angeles (Reuters) -- Jeremy Irons, Ashley Judd and Val Kilmer were among the film and television stars nominated on Tuesday for PRISM awards, which honor the accurate depiction of drug, alcohol and tobacco use and addiction.

Other nominees for the awards, which are handed out in May include Samuel L. Jackson, Bernie Mac and Neve Campbell.

Nominated for best theatrical film were "Changing Lanes," "The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood," "Narc," "Salton Sea" and "Skins."

Jackson, who played a recovering alcoholic opposite Ben Affleck in "Changing Lanes," will compete against Judd ("Ya-Ya Sisterhood"), Kilmer ("Salton Sea"), Jason Patric ("Narc") and Graham Greene ("Skins") for best performance in a theatrical feature film.

The PRISM awards are presented by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse/ National Institutes of Health, which supports research on the health aspects of drug abuse and addiction.
