Come Early Morning stars Ashley Judd as Lucy, a woman living in Little Rock, Ark., who has a solid job and a not at all solid personal life. Lucy gets drunk enough to find strangers compelling enough to sleep with, and then sober enough in the morning to never want to see them again.
Into her life enter a few crucial things: a stray dog, a renewed relationship with her troubled father (Scott Wilson, In Cold Blood ) and a promising romance with a town newcomer (Jeffrey Donovan). The DVD cover's pastel-hued portrait of Judd and Donovan smiling at each other, as well as its somewhat platitudinous tagline ('Before you fall in love, you need to love yourself') hint at a less interesting, subtle film than what Come Early Morning turns out to be...

Sushmita's impending appointment with Hollywood actress Ashley Judd has her excited like seldom before.
"What makes Ashley's trip to India so special is not only the fact that she cares so deeply for the AIDS cause. It's also because she’s coming all the way to our country to raise funds for this cause. And as far as I'm concerned that's enough reason for India to play host to Ashley. I feel she's my guest and I'm going to do my best to make her feel at home," says Sushmita five days before Ashley Judd comes to Mumbai to join hands with Sush...

She’s reading the Bhagwad Gita and is in the process of perfecting the Indian head bob. “That’s still something that’s left,” she laughs. She’s on her way to becoming an honorary Indian herself.
In the city for three days to further the cause of awareness of HIV/AIDS prevention and to bring to focus the importance of reproductive health, she’s representing PSI (Population Services International).

Ashley Judd in India to promote AIDS awareness, was forced to stay in a dingy cinema in Mumbai's red-light district Saturday to escape being mobbed by enthusiastic fans, organizers said.
Judd, a global ambassador for YouthAIDS -- a wing of the non-profit group Population Services International (PSI) -- was keen to interact with sex workers in the narrow-laned Kamathipura district of India's financial capital.
But "we had to postpone plans as there were too many people," said K Balaji, a spokesperson for the Washington-based organization in India.
Judd's personal security staff helped her leave the cinema and bundled her into a waiting car, delaying her program by several hours.

Summer is arriving in the capital with a scorcher. No, global warming has nothing to do with it. Hollywood actress Ashley Judd is coming to town to turn on the heat.
The star of the 1990s thrillers Kiss The Girls and Double Jeopardy will arrive this month as global ambassador for Youth AIDS, an initiative of Population Services International (PSI), an organisation involved in the prevention of HIV, health education, and maternal and child health.
Judd , who has been involved in humanitarian and reproductive rights issues in recent years, will meet health workers, representatives of corporate organisations, government officials and others during her three-day stay.
“Through her efforts at mobilisation of resources from the corporate sector, we’ve been able to raise about $500,000 that will go into our projects in Mumbai,” said Tim McLellan, managing director of PSI India.
