Mystics team up with Ashley and Wynonna Judd for YouthAIDS forum

The Washington Mystics Foundation is proud to partner with YouthAIDS to create YouthAIDS Day on July 27th at Verizon Center. The celebrity event will bring together upwards of a thousand local teens to participate in a day-long event beginning with a forum, followed by the Mystics versus Chicago Sky game at 7:00 p.m., and ending with a concert by country music legend Wynonna Judd.

The YouthAIDS forum, which will take place from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., will be hosted by YouthAIDS Global Ambassador Ashley Judd and Youth AIDS Music Ambassador Wynonna Judd, as well as a panel of peer educators from DC based Metro Teen AIDS... Full Story

The wait to come home will be over soon. A Grammy Award-winning singer with 20 No. 1 hits to her credit, Wynonna will perform at 8 p.m. June 23 at the Paramount Arts Center, the first concert of this year's Kentucky Music Trail series.

In Ashland, that day will be Wynonna Day, with activities and celebrations in downtown. As the day approaches, Wynonna is busy. This week, she made three appearances at the CMA Music Festival — a performance will be included in "CMA Music Festival: Country Music’s Biggest Party," which will air at 9 p.m. July 24 on ABC.

Cartier has added a new piece to its LOVE Collection, The LOVE Charity Bracelet. It's fashioned with a knotted silk band that displays a miniature, pink gold version a Love bracelet at its front. Eight Hollywood celebrities are working with Cartier, using the bracelets to promote a specific charity. Each silk bracelet holds a miniature, pink gold bracelet at its front. Silk colors represent the charity that a portion of proceeds will be donated to and each charity is sponsored by a celebrity. Sarah Jessica Parker, Salma Hayek, Scarlett Johansson, Ashley Judd, Spike Lee and several others are involved in the project.

The silk bracelet color is specific to the following charities :
