Ashley Judd: At Home in Her Castle

In the new March issue of Allure magazine, with an article entitled, Rebel Belle Ashley speaks her mind about her larger-then-life mother and sister, her racecar-driver husband, and the one woman she's dying to kiss on the mouth...

I have added scans from the issue... The pictures are great... of course, but really cool part is where Ashley gives commentary on photos from the past. Interesting stuff. --> Go to the Gallery

Have a great weekend everyone :)

Ashley Judd doesn't only attend Kentucky home games. Hollywood's Girl Gone Wildcat actually hangs at them -- in the student section, no less.

But when Judd attends games, as she did on Jan. 9 against then No. 2 Kansas, surely she comes with legions of beefy guards, making her an unapproachable Hollywood intruder, right?

Hardly. During the Kansas game, Judd spent the first half embedded amongst the Bluehearts, a student cheer squad that dresses, appropriately, in Mel Gibson-in-Braveheart garb and face paint. Were one of these guys to approach Judd at a red-carpet event, he'd have security up his ass faster than he could say, "Have my babies, Ashley!" Road Trip: University of Kentucky

Wynonna to appear on "Hope & Faith"

"When you get a call like that you think 'What the heck,"' said Wynonna, who's done a little acting before, appearing on the show "Touched By An Angel."

On "Hope & Faith," she'll play Cynthia Melville, a rich, spoiled, self-indulgent Manhattanite.

Feb. 18 (tomorrow night) in a takeoff of ABC's "Wife Swap" reality series. In the sitcom, Faith submits Hope as a "Wife Swap" candidate and she swaps with Cynthia. The shows will air 9-10 p.m. EST on ABC.

And if Wynonna ever needs a few pointers, she knows who to call.

"Ashley said to me, 'Live truthfully in imaginary circumstances. Don't act,"' Wynonna said. "Ashley doesn't act. She allows herself to react to whatever that person is saying in that moment."

Ashley was in Daytona this past weekend with husband Dario Franchitti. The team of Milka Duno, Dan Wheldon, and Dario and Marino Franchitti raced their #2 CITGO Pontiac Crawford at the front of the sixty-two car field for most of the event until an accident brought an end to their first race of the 2005 season.

Ashley to speak at gay rights dinner...

Ashley Judd is going to be a speaker at the annual Human Rights Campaign Tennessee dinner, a fund-raiser for the state's gay, lesbian, bisexual and trans-gendered community. The event takes place on February 26.

Organizers reportedly thought of Ashley right away due to her active role in the fight against the worldwide spread of AIDS. Ashley is also noted for her roles in De-Lovely, Frida, and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof all of which involved gay themes.

Ashley will be joined by former The New Republic editor Andrew Sullivan, an openly gay Catholic who has challenged church teachings on homosexuality. February 5, 2005

Ashley Judd, world-famous actress and Youth Aids global ambassador, has persuaded some South African celebrities to take HIV tests.

Stars from the soap operas Generations and Isidingo heeded her call on with a quick needle prick in the finger to establish their HIV status.

Their doing so coincided with the opening of a voluntary counselling and testing centre, New Start, in Johannesburg's city centre.
