New layout up today. I know gray is kinda blah, but... it seemed like a good idea when I thought it up yesterday? I love this time of year. April is only a day away. Some great birthdays coming up, like Ashley's on the 19th.... and mine *ahem* on the 6th LOL! I am so looking forward to it. Spring is the best time of year. I hope you like the new look. There is a new April calendar too! I didn't like the one that I had originally prepared for April so.... ENJOY!!

Wow, updates 5 days in a row! I have been brainstorming for something new and fun to add to the site for visitors... something simple and easy. I came up with this. Ok, now I know it is not an earth-shattering addition, but it is simple and easy and hopefully some of you will want to use them... maybe?

Polly Judd, mother of author/entertainer Naomi Judd and grandmother of country singer Wynonna Judd and movie star Ashley Judd, is moving -- house and all -- again.
... Judd has said nothing about her famous descendants being on hand to watch... But she says the famous Judds are happy about it.
"They love the idea," she says. "They’re very satisfied that I’m keeping the house. ‘Keep the house, Mom, it’s home,’ Naomi told me. And it’s the only house that the grandchildren have visited ‘Nana’ in. It’s embedded in their memories -- playing on the third floor and swinging in the swing on the big front porch."

Now playing @ Japander, Ashley Judd ad for Honda.
Last night on American Idol, there was a country theme. You just can't do country without Wynonna. One of the contestants, Jennifer Hudson, performed Wy's classic hit "No One Else on Earth". Other artists featured were Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Garth Brooks, The Dixie Chicks, Lonestar, Willie Nelson, Kenny Rogers, John Michael Montgomery, Roger Miller and the Eagles. Producers tried to get Wynonna to be a part of the show, but a scheduled appearance in Texas prevented her from being able to attend.... darn.

Japander: 1. a western star who uses his or her fame to make large sums of money in a short time by advertising products in Japan that they would probably never use. 2. to make an ass of oneself in Japanese media. I bring all this up to say that Ashley will be part of a feature on Japander very soon, that should be interesting... very interesting!

Sunday was a bad Sports day for AJ -- Kentucky, the Big Blue Nation, college basketball's most legendary program was defeated by UAB in a one-point, come-from-behind victory. In Phoenix, Dario is part of a 3 car crash during a restart.
Oh, and in case anyone is interested in this, I saw Wynonna perform this weekend in Baltimore. It was my first Wy show ever. She was phenomenal. If she should ever come to your town... get a ticket!! If you want to read about my experience (of course there was drama), and check out the Baltimore Sun article on the performance go here

The world premiere of Irwin Winkler's Cole Porter biopic "De-lovely" will close the 57th Cannes Film Festival on Saturday, May 22. Both Kevin Kline (Porter) and Ashley Judd (Linda) expected attend.
MGM, which will release "De-lovely" on July 2, is expected to host a lavish fete for the closing night, to be followed by festival fireworks over the Cote d'Azur.
The evening will feature performances of Cole Porter classics by Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morissette and Natalie Cole, all of whom appear in the film.
Cannes planners have stepped up efforts to make the fest's closing days worth sticking around for and to boost coverage by the media.
In addition to moving the awards ceremony to Saturday instead of the traditional Sunday, when many weary festgoers had already headed home, organizers wanted to land a notable world premiere to boost the evening's allure.
Written by Jay Cocks ("Gangs of New York"), script takes the perspective of Porter looking back on the people and events of his life as if they were elaborate production numbers.

The Kentucky Wildcats wrap up regular season with visit from Florida... and Ashley Judd. UK's most celebrated fan, was in attendance at Rupp arena for the first time this year to celebrate a Kentucky 82-62 win. She had a cast on her broken left foot and was carried to the court by a cheerleader to be the "Y" in the spelling of "Kentucky" during a timeout.
